When a client of the Blatteis Law Firm is sued, Attorney Charles Blatteis takes things most seriously. That was the case when clients who owned a Mexican restaurant with a bullfighting theme were made defendants in a wrongful death matter. This was the result of a busboy at the restaurant being involved in a deadly collision while on his day off. The plaintiffs in the lawsuit alleged that the busboy had been drinking in the restaurant, and they sought millions of dollars in excess of their insurance policy limits thus putting the entire business enterprise at risk. Through diligent research and investigation, Attorney Blatteis was able to interview numerous witnesses, review a multitude of bilingual files, and secure witness affidavits in both Spanish and English to successfully prove that the plaintiffs allegations were not true. The case ended with a summary judgment against the plaintiffs cutting off a protracted legal process and ending the matter once and for all.
