Immigration related investments in the United States are varied. EB-5 Visa investments in particular can range from smaller owner operated ventures to exceptionally large industrial developments. Charles Blatteis has successfully represented clients across the spectrum of such investments, including one whose EB-5 investment was tied to the creation of the world’s largest solar power plant located in the Mojave Desert in California. In this multibillion-dollar project, a shuttered Air Force Base was repurposed as a solar energy plant harnessing the energy of the sun and creating hundreds of jobs in the process. When fully operational, it will have a planned gross capacity of 392 megawatts and will utilize 170,000 heliostat mirrors to focus solar energy on boilers located on centralized solar power towers. *photo depicts the construction of solar power plant reminiscent of the one described in the case study.
